Lana was born at home in Regina in the middle of a cold winter's night. Growing up on the prairies imbued her with a love of spacious skies and room to roam. Now living in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, Lana continues to seek and express that kind of space.
Working in mixed media, Lana's paintings are often large in scale, whether landscape, abstract, portrait, or inspired by her garden. Drawing inspiration from biking and hiking with friends, gardening with her husband, exploring the great wide open with family, and the interior of self, Lana strives to convey her sensibilities.
